There's one man in the DC Universe capable of outdrawing Batman and besting him in melee combat. His name is Jonah Hex, the antihero first drawn by no other than Mr. Tony DeZuņiga†.

Not only did Mang Tony co-create this character, he also made history by being the first Filipino comic book artist whose work got accepted by American publishers.

I can never thank him enough for his contributions to the Philippine comic book industry. He shall never be forgotten.

Thank you very much! I'm glad my work appeals to you the way it does. I started drawing at a young age. I've been doodling since I was five and I stated taking visual arts seriously when I was eleven. That would be seventeen years ago! Hahaha! The most important thing about drawing is to be able to communicate visually, to be able to make the viewer see your point of view, and to do it in an aesthetically pleasing way. To achieve that, it's important to invest in learning representational art which involves fundamentals like perspective, lighting, etc. You also need to learn about visual perception. I would recommend reading Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain by Betty Edwards! It's a fantastic reference material. I hope this helps! :)

Thank you! You should read the series especially the issues drawn by the late Tony DeZuņiga. They look awesome. :)
